While Taylor Swift already made a rare public appearance at the 2022 MTV VMAs last month, it seems like the pop culture icon decided to take part in low-key New York Fashion Week festivities, too. According to a report by E! News, Taylor attended the star-studded launch dinner for her bestie Gigi Hadid's new luxury cashmere line, Guest in Residence, at Le Chalet in New York City on September 6.

Other guests at the intimate event included Bella Hadid, Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Precious Lee, and Emily Ratajkowski. While they were all professionally photographed, Taylor seemed to have skipped out on the official photo opp. Instead, we caught a rare low-quality glimpse of Tay supporting her BFF on the Instagram stories of another attendee, Derek Walker. "Aaand @taylorswift said 'let NYFW commence' !!" the caption reads.
